Notice of Position Availability at Protea Group Management Services LLC POSITION: Fleet Services Systems Analyst WORKSITE: Carrollton, Texas SALARY: $66,498/year DUTIES: Analyze logistics data processing problems between company and South African fleet services clients for application to electronic data processing systems; analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations; use object-oriented programming languages, as well as client and server applications development processes and multimedia and Internet technology; meet with clients, suppliers and vendors to develop logistical support systems that will benefit the wholesale, distribution and export activities of the company with predominantly South African clients; confer with staff and clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address; and coordinate and link the computer systems within the company and with vendors and clients to increase compatibility and information sharing. REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent, based on a combination of education or experience as determined by a professional evaluation service, plus two years experience providing networking and data processing support and demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in Afrikaans with clients.
